Suzanne Harper To Compete At Western Regional Finals Of 2015 Country Showdown

After winning the Country Showdown California State Finals held at Knott’s Berry Farm, Harper will be heading to the Western Regional Finals in Oregon later in the fall.

“It was very exciting (to perform at Knott’s Berry Farm). It was fun being able to be in that atmosphere again, it’s always a great crowd,” said Harper. “The audience started cheering when we did our first song.”

Harper played two original songs at the State Finals on Saturday, “Redneck,” and “Tractors in the Fast Lane.” Harper played the same songs at Santa Clarita Concerts in the Park on July 25.

“We’re thrilled (to be going to the Western Regional Finals),” said Harper. “I’ve been there before so it’s nice to not go in blind. Hopefully we’ll be able to bring it home.”
