History of the Iron Reef building

Knott’s newest ride, Voyage to the Iron Reef, has been a big hit with my kids. They love taking a sci-fi adventure under the sea and defeating the Kraken to save Knott’s Berry Farm from utter destruction. This thrilling adventure ride is located near the Knott’s Boardwalk, across the way from the Charles Schultz Theatre.

For those of you who are new to the Knott’s Berry Farm theme park, you may not know the history behind this particular area of the park where Voyage to the Iron Reef now resides. But for those of you who have been coming to Knott’s since the beginning, you probably have many memories of this part of the park before Voyage to the Iron Reef came to be.
