Pack your sleeping bag for a camp out at Knott's Berry Farm (and other roller coaster parks)

Roller coaster fans, grab your tent and buy a ticket if you want to spend the night at Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park and other roller coaster parks.

It's all in honor of National Roller Coaster Day on Aug. 16, and money raised from camping tickets will support the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.

Cedar Fair Entertainment Co. on Thursday announced the Coaster Campouts at Knott's Berry Farm and eight other parks in the U.S.

Overnighters receive a 7:30 a.m. wake-up call from Snoopy and early time on rides (9:30 to 10 a.m.) Aug. 14 at Camp Snoopy and Fiesta Village. The park is closed to campers at the regular time of 10 p.m. each day.
