Knott’s Boysenberry Festival opens Saturday, March 28

As a member of local media, I was invited to a special event introducing the array of “Boysenberry Bites” that will tempt visitors to Knott’s Boysenberry Festival to indulge themselves beginning on Saturday, March 28.

Boy oh boy oh boy was that every a fun special event!

The Wilderness Dance Hall was turned over to food stations featuring appetizers, main dishes, side dishes, and desserts — all tinged a bit purple from the signature color of boysenberries.

Yes, the boysenberry was indeed developed at Knott’s Berry Farm — and the Farm has been producing boysenberry preserves every since.

But these “Boysenberry Bites” will have you seeing purple in a whole new light.
