While the old ride has been gone for a long time, I think it would be wise to release the audio of the ride after 40 years. Not only would it benefit the fans, but for the preservation of the park's history for enjoyment of the public. Knott's Bear-y Tales had an interesting soundtrack that stood out above every Theme Park Attraction. It was eccentric, strange, and kooky in helping compliment the surreal atmosphere of this wonderful ride that took you past the blacklit environments in a fantastic journey. A journey that many people still talk about from that year it was conceived in 1975 to it's end in 1986. If a release were to happen, It would be wise to honor what could have been the Ride's 40th Anniversary to justify it's existence. Bear-y Tales was a very unique Dark Ride and what better way to honor it would be a release of the audio!

Knott's News: Well, you might as well sign it, although I don't know what good it will do. I feel like if anything, Knott's will make some tracks available online for free (like how Cedar Point released Millennium Force's station music and the Paramount Parks released a crap ton of park music) but I don't anticipate a full soundtrack release, which is a shame but understandable. The most I see happening is some kind of digital distribution.
To be fair, historically, not even Disney or Universal makes entire ride soundtracks available but has instead stuck to park complications, parade and event music. Granted, Disney in the past made a ton of their audio available through the Walt Disney World Forever CD Creation System, which was something you'll never see again and the rest comes from leaks and in-park recordings (induction recordings can be indistinguishable from source). I'm only saying this to keep expectations in check (remember that feeling when Voyage to the Iron Reef was announced and not Knott's Bear-y Tales 2.0), not to discourage people from signing the petition.
Please, sign it and let Knott's / Cedar Fair know that their is a demand for this stuff. I would most definitely settle for a park compilation - possibly featuring Kevin Nadeau's Kingdom of the Dinosaurs score, Bill Reyes' re-created Calico Mine Ride cavern music, Jim Lang's Mystery Lodge score, etc. - should they feel the need to test the waters and would be all over a Knott's Bear-y Tales standalone soundtrack release should it happen.
