Knott's News: My gut reaction is a negative one, based solely on how mediocre the Wonder Mountain's Guardian video game ride is and by how much I wanted a dark ride attraction with detailed sets / animatronics (it wasn't nice of them to tease us with Bear-y Tales / Kingdom of the Dinosaurs on their Facebook). It says they tossed around reviving Bear-y Tales or Kingdom of the Dinosaurs but one must wonder how much their final decision to go with Trio-Tech - as opposed to a dark ride of equal quality to it's predecessors - was influenced by top management at Cedar Fair's excitement for the budget technology's quick returns. We'll have to trust Knott's knows what they're doing but I can't help expressing disappointment with this announcement, going from an 8-min dark ride experience to a 4-min video game. I've honestly got more faith in Six Flags' new Justice League dark ride, so hopefully more comes out about this attraction to renew faith.
