Knott's News is closing its doors

I'd like to take the time to thank the few readers I've had over the years but as of today, Knott's News is no more. I may leave the blog up a little longer before taking it all down but this will be the last post. There are other sources to get information on Knott's and honestly, I just have no interest in being another coaster site (covering coasters bores me to tears). Knott's is something special and I wish them the best. Hopefully they don't stray too far off course towards being a generic steel park. Thanks again everyone!

  1. Thank you for all your posts man, i understand your ordeal, i feel the same, they are getting away from their history even after some of the great things theyve been doing in the last five yrs.

  2. It's nice to support the underdog, but Knott's will stay the underdog because they are too cheap to even compete with Six Flags at this point. They will milk their shows and Bosenberry fest as a way to draw families in rather than build decent attractions. If you don't ride roller coasters there really isn't much to do at Knott's. They could at least add theming to existing attractions but they are too cheap to even do that.
